Apprenticing
Apprenticing offers an opportunity to learn both didactically and experientially. The apprentice-mentor model offers rare and necessary hands-on experience and the backing to grow without undue pressure to perform.
Together we identify your growth edges and design a personalized program that
allows you to play and progress at your own pace. This method ensures the
incremental building and strengthening of both observation and intervention
capabilities.
Co-leading ongoing groups and periodic wilderness retreats supports you to
deepen your understanding of group dynamics, cultivate essential facilitation
skills and develop your ‘self’ as leader.
Leadership Training
Wild at the Roots training offers an immersion program of intensified study
with a small group of aspiring group facilitators. Didactic and experiential
components are woven together with inquiry and group dialogue to construct
a rich and varied alchemical environment.
Drawing upon observations, common sense, intuition and creative inspiration,
trainees will participate in as well as study the dynamics of the training
group itself. Co-leading assignments ensure diverse learning experiences both
within the group and as rotating leaders of a separate group formed for purposes
of the training.
--These programs are relevant for professional therapists, group leaders, somatic educators and individuals interested in furthering their leadership skills.
